In celebration of Black History Month, the Cambridge Citywide Senior Center will host a special guest speaker on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 1-3 p.m.
Keith Harvey will discuss the Black Lives Matter movement and what communities are doing to advance social justice. He is executive director of the New England Regional Office of American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), a Quaker organization that promotes lasting peace with justice.
The presentation will be preceded by music from students in the Longly School of Music.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The Cambridge Citywide Senior Center is located at 806 Massachusetts Avenue.
