In-Home Fall Prevention

A one on one in-home program aimed at improving strength and balance, for people with difficulty participating in a Fall Prevention Program outside their home.  The program is aimed at improving strength and balance to reduce the risk of falls and increase the participant’s ability to safely leave the home.

In-Home Fall Prevention

A trained instructor will conduct four home visits to:

  • Develop an exercise plan that can be done at home, individually, or with the help of a caregiver.
  • Help participants choose an appropriate exercise class in the community if desired, as well as arrange transportation if needed.
