Fiscal Department Summer Intern

The Fiscal Department Summer Intern will assist in the migration to NetSuite ERP by gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping processes, and supporting the Fiscal team in ensuring the new system meets organizational needs. This position will be for two months. Pay range $20 to $24/hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Extraction Transformation and Loading

  • Assist in the extraction of data from the current financial software.
  • Transform and clean data to ensure compatibility with NetSuite ERP.
  • Map and load data into the new ERP system and validate data accuracy.
  • Support data reconciliation processes to ensure completeness.

API Integration

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of API integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and debug integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement security best practices to protect data and systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API integration.

Business Insights Dashboard Development

  • Map current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the configuration and customization of the new ERP system to meet business needs.
  • Assist in the creation of user documentation and training materials.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback to the project team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Business Administration, Business Analyst, Finance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards/ Finance is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex business processes.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Must meet both CORI/SORI and public health screening requirements.

  • Physical surroundings are comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or hazards.

  • Occasional stress due to periodic or cyclical workload pressures and deadlines. Some interruptions involved.
