Spanish speakers: Help Seniors Talk to Their Doctor in Medical Appointments

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) is seeking Spanish-speaking volunteers for its Medical Advocate Program. Be there to help a senior remember what to tell the doctor, understand the doctor, be comfortable, and keep track of medical appointments.  As a Medical Advocate, you will be matched with a senior, become familiar with their medical issues, and make sure their concerns are addressed.  Training is provided.  Transportation to and from appointments is also provided.
