Monthly Grocery Deliveries

Our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides two bags of groceries for eligible local older adults on the first Tuesday morning of each month, through a partnership with the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Delivery is available for Somerville and Cambridge residents. The groceries are mostly shelf-stable items, with refrigerated cheese and two items of fresh produce. 

This program serves recipients age 60 and over who meet income eligibility guidelines. Participation in the program is free, but advance registration is required.

SCES and its programs are funded, in whole or in part, by contract or grants with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, the Older Americans Act, local funds, foundations, and private contributions.

SCES is a member of Mass Home Care and Metro Boston Aging and Disability Resource Consortium (ADRC), a group of organizations committed to independent living and providing options for long term services and support to older adults and people of all ages living with disabilities.
